Founder | Chief Executive Officer

Aniq is the owner and operator of ARQ Ventures. He started his career at Intel Corporation as Platform Validation Engineer after completing his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Portland State University. After 5 years at Intel he decided to work for Microsoft Corporation in the Surface group. His Passion for real estate investment started when he purchased his first condo in June 2017. After 6 months of contemplating supplemental income ideas, he decided to invest in his condo and add value by renovating the kitchen. On October 16 2017 at 3:11 am, he decided to stop thinking and start taking action. He got out a screw driver and started removing kitchen cabinet doors. After that he slowly started demolishing his whole kitchen. 45 minutes later, perplexed, he was looking around and wondering what he just did. Over the next few weeks he contacted interior designers, picked kitchen layout, ordered appliances, picked flooring among other things. By January of 2018, he transformed his 1969 condo into a modern work of art. Shortly after he decided to sell his condo and see what he could get for it, within a week he sold his condo for $100,000 more than what he bought it for. This started his journey into the world of real estate investments.

Akram Hamdy

Chief Financial Officer

Akram is the co-founder of ARQ Ventures. He started his career as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft Corporation in 2015. For the past several years, Akram had been thinking of various investments ideas to accelerate earning potential and achieve financial freedom. He is passionate in social justice and enriching others. Akram met Aniq in 2017 and they decided to start ARQ Ventures.

in his free time, Akram enjoys traveling to south america, playing soccer both physically and on fifa and cooking new healthy recipes with his wife

OMAR VARGAS

Director of Operations

Omar is serving as Director of Operations. He joined ARQ Ventures in 2021 after a decade of running Allstate Insurance offices all over the pacific northwest. After flawlessly managing a few Single Family construction projects in Portland, he moved his family to Chicago in the middle of winter on a cross country moving trip to focus on multifamily real estate projects with over over $200k+ construction budget . He currently manages a team of 17 different trades for commercial real estate. Omar’s drive and passion comes from growing up in the same apartment building up as Aniq (CEO) and always had a thirst for knowledge and building a scaling business. His abundance mindset and passion for building long term relationships is radiates in his every interaction.

In his limited free time, he loves passing out food to the homeless, going snowboarding, dirt bike/ATV sports and working on cars.

What’s in the Name?

Many people wonder what does ARQ stand for? Ever since the founders started first working in real estate, they quickly experienced the power of gratitude and abundance. From sharing a meal with contractors to buying items for the contractors children, this would only be possible through sustenance.

ARQ comes from the Arabic root word of Rizq which means sustenance/prosperity.
